First time at LUSH: Fresh Handmade Cosmetics ♡

I've been delayed on posting lately due to school work and other activities that I participate in. But anyway, it was probably in February when I first went to LUSH. For those of you who don't know what LUSH is, it is a store with fresh handmade cosmetics. It's a store filled with cute soaps, scrubs, masks, shampoo, conditioner. I don't really go to the mall where LUSH is located in but I always hear people talking about LUSH and their products. So one day, I just decided to go on in and look around. I didn't have any intentions of purchasing anything because I don't really use those types of things. Like, I already have a shampoo and conditioner I'm satisfied with. Also, I didn't really want to buy anything just because I heard that it was a little pricey there.

To begin my journey, I walked in and right away this lady greeted me. Keep in mind that the store is pretty small and that day it was very crowded and busy! This lady greeted me and asked me a couple questions like "Is it your first time here?" and "Are you looking for anything in particular?". Obviously, it was my first time and I wasn't really looking for anything in particular so she let me look around and finally I guess she figured that I was kind of lost in a way so she asked me if I wanted to try anything. After that I don't know what happened, but we ended up near the masks. When you try things at LUSH, there's a table in a corner where they have towels, chairs, big stainless steel bowls. Then, they fill the bowls with warm water. The lady then asked what type of skin I had; oily, dry, sensitive, etc. I am dry, not super dry but also sensitive. Then she took a mask out of a little fridge. To shorten the story, I ended up liking their service. The workers were all friendly and I ended up buying a face mask called Catastrophe Cosmetic! Smells like blueberries! This is how the mask looks like on your face. Also, remember to avoid your eyes when you apply this mask and you keep it on for 5-10 mins and then I like to soak a small face towel in hot water and then I rub in small circles to remove the mask and rinse my face with warm water and moisturize!

My overall purchase and experience was great!
And I totally recommend all of you to check out a LUSH near you!

Updated: Lip Products/Lip Balms Collection ♡

If you guys didn't know already, I am obsessed with lip balms, products, or just basically anything you can put on your lips! I have so much more than I need and I'm pretty sure this could last me more than a year, lol. But, I mean.. It's okay!
To start off, on the top left corner, I have all my EOS Lip Balms. As you can see, for some of them, I have more than one of each color. That's because I've had one of those before and then when I went to Costco, I found the 10 pack of EOS Lip Balms and purchased it because I just wanted the purple one. Lol.
The EOS Lip Balm that's unopened is the Pomegranate Raspberry as well as the one on the top right side in the first row. To make it easier- here's a list from top-bottom & left-right:
  • Medicated Tangerine
  • Summer Fruit
  • Summer Fruit
  • Pomegranate Raspberry
  • Lemon Drop w/ SPF 15
  • Honeysuckle Honey Dew
  • Honeysuckle Honey Dew
  • Blueberry Acai
  • Sweet Mint
  • Passion Fruit
  • Strawberry Sorbet
  • Strawberry Sorbet
Personally, my favorite one from EOS is the Sweet Mint one because it feels really refreshing and when I put it on it kind of burns my lips. I also feel that it really moiturizes my lips because of that burning sensation I get when I apply it on my lips.
Next are the Nivea Butter products next to the unopened EOS Lip Balm. The ones I have currently are Caramel Cream Kiss, Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss, Raspberry Rose Kiss, & Smooth Kiss. Again, my personal favorite is the Smooth Kiss because it has no scent to it.
Okay so, on the top right are some random lip products.

  • NYC LipStain in Persisitant Pink 490. Sadly, this doesn't really show up on my lips.
  • Covergirl Smoochies in #smooch! It's kind of a natural color on my lips and it just adds some glitter onto my lips.
  • Maybelline's BabyLips in Pink Punch! I don't really use this one that often though.
  • Good 'ol Chapstick Mositurizer: hydration lock up to 8 hours
In the last two rows are the BabyLips I purchased when I went to the Philippines for winter vacation! I've only tried like 3 of them and so far, I've loved them all.
  • BabyLips Color Mixed Berry - This was my most used product when I bought this pack. And I love the natural red lips look it gives me when I used it!
  • BabyLips Color Rose Addict
  • BabyLips Color Cherry Kiss
  • BabyLips Color Pink Lolita
  • BabyLips Glow (Hot Pink) Mixed Berry
  • BabyLips Glow (Baby Pink) Mixed Berry
  • BabyLips Mango Pie - Smells so delicious!
  • BabyLips Anti-Oxidant Berry
  • BabyLips Cherry Velvet
  • BabyLips Energizing Orange
  • BabyLips Smoothing Cherry
  • BabyLips Menthol
So, that is it to my lip products updated collection! I hope this was somewhat interesting for you all, hehe.

Recently Purchased Items ♡

I did a little shopping today with my mother after dance practice! We went to Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, & Sephora. These stores are so girly and I love it! Heads up, Bath & Body Works has their Sweet Shop collection and it is just amazing! They have even more adorable choices with their hand sanitizers, candles, and hand sanitizer cases. My two favorite scents in their collection Sweet Shop (I think that's the name) is Watermelon Lemonade and Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut. They also have a Raspberry Macaroon scent, but my nose is really sensitive and for some reason it's too strong for me. But the picture on the candle is really delicious looking. Additionally, I've been on YouTube lately and many beauty gurus I watch have been talking about the First Aid Beauty products and when I was walking around Sephora, I happened to just see it! It was great. I have really sensitive skin and eczema runs in my family so I thought I should try out the cream. I'll let you guys know how it works out for me! I'm really hoping my skin enjoys it, hehe. Okay! So for the main reason I wanted to go to the mall today was to get my free thong from VS. Then, I was looking around their clothes and saw the Spring Break 2014 shirt and it was only $5 with a Pink purchase so I just had to get it! It was really simple and I thought it would be great to wear over the break when I hang out with my friends, go swimming, or just sit around at home when it's warm. As a result, I bought some body mists and lotions. My favorite ones: Fresh & Clean because my mom and other people always tell me that I smell good when I have it on. By the way, I bought like two body mists and two body lotions and I got another product free, so of course I got another body mist! So, I'm all stocked up for probably the rest of the year!

My lip balm obsession ♡

I have absolutely no idea why, but I just love buying new lip products.
I really like the EOS lip balms. My first one was the Mint, but I don't know where that went. I probably threw it away since I finished it. But lately, I've been using the EOS Honeydew and the raspberry nivea lip balm! They both mosturize my lips very well!
I've also noticed that the best time to apply lip balm and chapstick is after I brush my teeth because I don't have any cracked or dry lips; preventing any of that white nasty stuff all over ya lips. Do you know what I mean? Well, if you don't... then idk what to say. :3 I'm sorry.
The babylips doesn't really moisturize my lips. I just kind of like the color and tint is has on my lips. So, I usually apply some of the nivea or EOS before applying the babylips. Also, I try to use the regular lip butter from Nivea when I apply BabyLips so that I don't have like so many things going on with my lips.
Oh yeah, I've also dedicated one small pocket on my backpack for school to some of my lip products. It's amazing. I just love lip products guys.
So yeah! I don't like using the stick ones because I noticed I lose those very easily and having nice ones like EOS or Nivea has lessen my rate of losing my lip balms because they cost more than chapstick and because they're not small :p and they're akwardly shaped. So yeah! ♡

Little Girly Things: hair bows ♡

I'm selling hair bows you guys! My website is littlegirlythings.storenvy.com and if you need to get a hold on me through my little business, please email me at littlegirlythings@yahoo.com! :) It would really be awesome if you guys would buy some! If you personally know me, like I go to your school or we have some mutual friends, just let me know if you want a bow and you won't have to pay all that shipping and handling stuff! :) But, for everyone who lives.. not where I live, you guys have to pay :( I'm so sorry! But yeah! I really hope this goes well and I hope if you guys ever decide to buy one that you guys love your bows!
I will also be allowing you to customize your hair bows. For example, if you'd like to change the pattern, send me a picture through email or something and I'll try my best to find that! Also! If you rather prefer a french barrette clip versus an alligator clip, then let me know also! :)
If you guys have any suggestions or concerns, feel free to ask me! I'd also love some tips or advice if you guys know anything about all this because I'm really new to this whole thing. But, I've totally been planning to do something like this for a really long time now!
