June Favorites ♡

It is the first day of July! It's time for my June favorites. I don't do these favorites every single month because I don't really try any new things every month. But here are some things I've been loving this June.

I got these for my birthday last year. Sadly last Christmas I was running and my phone fell and the plug to insert the headphones got bent (although I don't know how that was possible) so there are some problems with them now. You can still hear things perfectly but the volume buttons no longer work and when people call me and I have these headphones on, sometimes they can't really hear me. So these are just regular headphones now. I'm so sad but it's still really worth it. You can change out the earbuds depending on how much of the surroundings you want to mute, if that makes sense. Hahah. If you guys were wondering, these are the Light Pink Earbuds Beats by Dr. Dre.

I've had these products for a while now. The most recent purchase from this set has to be the Burt's Bees lip balm. From left to right, I purchased the Gimme Brow by Benefit and Baby Skin Pore Erase by Maybelline from the Philippines when I visited over winter break. I really love these! These are both great products and I really love the pore eraser because it's a clear gel and it does the job for ya! This is weird but I use the travel sized BB Cream from Naked. I just think it's really cute and this is my second bottle. But I think soon, I'll be purchasing the regular size. Now, the lip balm is great. I love it because it's really moisturizing and it is sooo refreshing! It's like minting so it's smell good too!

I got this light pink eyelash curler from the Philippines and it's from Etude House. I think it's a great product - maybe not the best eyelash curler out there but I loved the color! The one in the middle is either a sample size/travel size is Cils Booster XL Vitamin-Infused Mascara Primer and my Aunt just gave it to me because she got it for me to try out. And of course, everyone knows the They're Real Mascara by Benefit. This helps my lashes long and curled. It doesn't clump unless you put like thousands of layers and it does a great job of keeping your lashes looking nice and full.

Now this is my most recent purchase! I've been eyeing the Urban Decay Palettes for a while now. It's going to be my senior year and I wanted to get some make up that I could use for my senior year pictures and dances, and other special events for the future! I was thinking about buying the Naked 3 but things happened. I'll probably make another post-review about this palette. I mean I'm not a make up expert of beauty guru so don't count on it. But you guys can see how I ended up choosing this palette instead of the new one and other opinions I had on this palette and what not! But overall, I'm excited to start using this and practicing my skills with make up and artistry, hahah.

Last favorite! I bought this a couple days before I bought my Naked 2 Palette and I love these shoes just as much! These are the jelly flats seen from American Apparel or Urban Outfitters.
However, I got these babies from Aldo. I bought these jellies from Aldo because AA and UO didn't have them in this color wish is like a nude/super light pink and I tried the black ones on and they didn't make my feet look flattering. So, I got these! And I wear them like every single day now!

I hope you guys liked this post and find new things to try out for July!

Senior Year: How to Make/Save Money

We all know that Senior year is the super expensive! Senior bondings, activites, dances, and gradnite!
Here are some tips and ideas on how you can start saving up money for senior expenses!

Extra Change
People really don't think that coins will do anything because they're coins and don't have as much value as bills do, but when you put away all the change you find lying around the house that no one claims that'll add up! Also, at the end of every week grab your wallet and take out all the coins that makes your wallet 10x heavier. Do this for a couple of months and you'll have lots of money saved up!
The reason why I like doing this is because when you have coins saved up, you're less tempted to use it when you need money to go out. You wouldn't want to break up $5 in coins would you?
When you think you have enough coins stacked up in the corner of your room, go visit your bank or a local grocery store and find the coin machine!

Don't let your clothes go to waste
Is your closet filled with a bunch of clothes but you find yourself wearing the same clothing all the time? Maybe now is the time to start cleaning out your closet.
When you clean out your closet, keep this in mind "If I had the chance to repurchase it, would I?" Clearly, if the answer is no then you should get rid of it.
Once you're finished with the two piles of "Keep" of "Get rid of" then you can take pictures of all the clothes and set up prices for each item and put them up on a social media site like Instagram, Facebook, or what I like to use is Storenvy! Just make sure that when you ship to charge the correct amount so you're not spending as much as the item is being sold for.
When an item is purchased, but that money aside in a jar.

Homemade snacks/lunch
If you love baking or cooking, this is such a perfect idea!
I don't know if this is allowed at your school, but people at my school did it! Secretly or openly. At my school, it isn't allowed. But students who are going on the Europe trip selling snacks around school.
You can buy a big tub of cookie dough from Costco or any other grocery store and selling a pack of cookies - maybe 3 for $1. Or you sell spam musubi for $2 each.
At my school these were the top two popular snacks sold by student.
Another one was Tostitos with chamoy!

So those are some ideas where you can start earning and saving up money for senior activites and events. Hope you guys found this very helpful! I plan on making more posts regarding senior year to help other fellow class leaders and officers out with saving, earning, and planning! I'll be tagging or labeling these posts with School or Senior Year.

Summer Must-Haves! ♡

I decided to make a collage of things I think you should have for your summer adventures this year!

Rainbow Sandals are so comfortable and easy to wear! They're perfect for any type of outfit.
But you'll also need a pair of comfortable and trendy shoes! White or Black Converse also go with any type of outfit. And you won't get your cute little toes stepped on when going on adventures.

Some basics you'll need for summer:
Of course, always have some sunscreen, lip balm, hair ties, some body mist, sunglasses, cute hats, and a baithing suit! Make sure you're always protecting your skin with sunscreen and wearing a hat to protect your face. You don't want to walk around looking like a tomato this summer! I mean, unless that's your style- no shame.

Lastly, electronics because who doesn't like documenting their adventures and making cool videos! Having external batteries like the Mophie and Anker will be handy on long trips, road trips, or if you'll be using your phone a lot for pictures and videos. Also, the famous GoPro Camera is great for anything! It is on the pricy side, but it'll be a great investment if you're into making cool videos and stuff like that! However, if you're not really into videos and you love taking pictures, you should really think about getting a Fujifilm Instax Camera! They come in different styles and colors. Whatever fits you best! These create cute souveniers and will make cute decorations for your room as well!

Also, don't forget the most important essential for this summer- Have fun! Do what you love, and love what you do guys. Don't end this summer and have regrets.
