Senior Year: How to Make/Save Money

We all know that Senior year is the super expensive! Senior bondings, activites, dances, and gradnite!
Here are some tips and ideas on how you can start saving up money for senior expenses!

Extra Change
People really don't think that coins will do anything because they're coins and don't have as much value as bills do, but when you put away all the change you find lying around the house that no one claims that'll add up! Also, at the end of every week grab your wallet and take out all the coins that makes your wallet 10x heavier. Do this for a couple of months and you'll have lots of money saved up!
The reason why I like doing this is because when you have coins saved up, you're less tempted to use it when you need money to go out. You wouldn't want to break up $5 in coins would you?
When you think you have enough coins stacked up in the corner of your room, go visit your bank or a local grocery store and find the coin machine!

Don't let your clothes go to waste
Is your closet filled with a bunch of clothes but you find yourself wearing the same clothing all the time? Maybe now is the time to start cleaning out your closet.
When you clean out your closet, keep this in mind "If I had the chance to repurchase it, would I?" Clearly, if the answer is no then you should get rid of it.
Once you're finished with the two piles of "Keep" of "Get rid of" then you can take pictures of all the clothes and set up prices for each item and put them up on a social media site like Instagram, Facebook, or what I like to use is Storenvy! Just make sure that when you ship to charge the correct amount so you're not spending as much as the item is being sold for.
When an item is purchased, but that money aside in a jar.

Homemade snacks/lunch
If you love baking or cooking, this is such a perfect idea!
I don't know if this is allowed at your school, but people at my school did it! Secretly or openly. At my school, it isn't allowed. But students who are going on the Europe trip selling snacks around school.
You can buy a big tub of cookie dough from Costco or any other grocery store and selling a pack of cookies - maybe 3 for $1. Or you sell spam musubi for $2 each.
At my school these were the top two popular snacks sold by student.
Another one was Tostitos with chamoy!

So those are some ideas where you can start earning and saving up money for senior activites and events. Hope you guys found this very helpful! I plan on making more posts regarding senior year to help other fellow class leaders and officers out with saving, earning, and planning! I'll be tagging or labeling these posts with School or Senior Year.
