What I do with my hair ♡

I have long hair, and I think the only time I had short hair was when I was a baby and all my hair was barely growing out. My mommy always liked my hair long and doesn't really let me cut my hair super short. But, I don't really have a problem with that because the shortest I've had my hair was like right beneath my boobs. People have always complimented on how nice, healthy, pretty, long, etc. my hair is! So, I thought I should share the things I do with my hair with you.

I get a trim (1-2inches off) every once in a while. I don't always cut my hair on like a schedule. For example, I don't always cut it every two months or something. I let my hair grow out and once I feel like it's super long like going in my butt crack while I'm showering long hair- I get a trim. Or! I also get a trim when I see that my hair starts to get dry and starts getting a lot of split ends.
Additionally, I'm not an oily type of person, so my hair doesn't get that oily until I don't shower for like 2-3 days straight. (Gross right?! But it's okay.. I shower every single day.) I shower at night after I get home from my practices because I'm gross and sweaty. Another reason I shower at night is because my hair is really thick and long, so my hair drips everything and I don't like my hair dripping on the way to school, in class, and what not. Also, for some reason, when I shower in the morning and leave the house with my hair wet, I get the sniffles!

My hair color is the natural hair color. I don't dye my hair and I've never dyed my hair before. I guess it's because I'm not allowed to but if I were to dye my hair it would be light brown! Anyway, off topic! Coloring your hair probably makes you feel prettier or something. However, when you dye your hair it worsens the condition of your hair. For example, your hair can get dry, you have to use certain products in order to maintain the color of your hair, and like you need to continue coloring your hair the same color in order to keep that color when it starts fading. (Omg, I said color a lot.)

Another thing I've noticed is that when I use a lot of heat on my hair, like curl my hair or straighten my hair, my hair starts to get dry. Another thing is that every since I started curling my hair for my performances every Saturday, I started getting a lot of split ends. So heat can damage your hair girlfriend! One last thing! I don't comb or brush my hair when my hair is super duper wet.. I wait until it's about dry to brush it! So yeah! That's what I do with my hair :) Yay!

If you have dry hair, try not to wash your hair every single day. Because you're not supposed to anyway. So try washing your hair every other day. If you absolutely need to wash your hair every day, try putting some oils in your hair. You can use olive oil, coconut oil, vinegar, and mayonnaise.

Also, my mom and I purchased this at a beauty store (I forgot what it's called). But! It is this liquid oily thing you rub all over your hair. There's actually a lot in that little bottle, so when you open the bottle- make sure you don't throw away the cap do you can close it again and reuse the product if you don't get to finish it in one use. You're supposed to use it two times a week. Rub on your scalp if your scalp is dry and make sure you don't forget your hair! It really makes your hair silky and shiny! There's probably no more than 10 bottles in the box and it is pricey- $30. Another thing with this product is that it doesn't have the best smell. So yeah, maybe if you have no job and have a budget going with oil, vinegar, and mayo is the best! Also, make sure that when you put these things in your hair, let it sit in your hair for about 10-15 mins to let your hair soak in all those oils. Hope you guys enjoyed reading this and found it helpful!
